Schlotzsky’s®, home of The Original® oven-baked sandwich and famous Fresh-from-Scratch® buns, will blow out its 45th birthday by offering customers an opportunity to win $1,000 a day for the 45 days leading up to its birthday celebration on October 4. Guests who purchase the 45th birthday 32oz. commemorative cup and enter the “Blowin’ Out Birthday” sweepstakes in the LOTZ4ME app will be entered to win. New members who download the app will receive a free small The Original sandwich during the 45-day promotion window, August 19 to October 4.

Each 45th birthday 32oz. commemorative cup features a 10-digit sweepstakes code. In order to enter, fans log in to or, for new users, download the LOTZME app and enter their unique cup code which lights the Schlotzsky’s birthday candle atop their famous The Original sandwich. By blowin’ out the digital candle through the speaker of their smartphone, fans are officially entered to win $1,000. Fans can also receive in-app prizes by sharing their entry on Facebook including $45 e-gift cards as well as an official Schlotzsky’s 45th Birthday t-shirt.
